MBS TRIVIA
Thu, Jul. 10 2008

We should all agree that the Blues is about history, well the MBS has some history itself.

On Saturday June 14th in Naples, at the Maine Blues Festival there will be six, yes count them six, performers who have been with the (Southern) /Maine Blues Society since our initial year of 1989! That's nineteen years associated with our society. .

Just to let everyone know the answer, and who got it right! Two individuals got it right; Kevin Kimball and Andy Couture. Per the Maine Blues society archives, the six individuals are: Ed Murphy and Myron Samuels who have been with the Society since its inception. Mark Miller joined in the second month, Pam Baker joined in the third month and Jimmy Junkins and DW Gill joined on or about the fifth or sixth month of the initial year.Missing from this impressive list is Ron Breton who joined in the third month, but who did not perform at The Maine Blues Festival this year.
